The Ellen Hermanson Foundation has partnered with Hampton Jitney for the third consecutive year to hit the road for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Throughout October, a signature Hampton Jitney Ambassador bus—fully wrapped in bright pink—serves as a mobile billboard traveling between the New York City and the East End. The bus spotlights the Foundation’s mission and the critical services at The Ellen Hermanson Breast Center at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital.
“Throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month, our bus will run seven days a week featuring this special wrap to help raise awareness for The Ellen Hermanson Foundation,” said Geoff Lynch, President of Hampton Jitney “With QR codes displayed on the sides of the vehicle, passengers and community members can easily scan and learn more about the Foundation and its important work. We're very happy to support an organization whose mission we believe in so deeply.”
“Awareness saves lives by ensuring no woman feels alone and everyone knows accessible care is nearby,” added Mady Schuman, Executive Director of The Ellen Hermanson Foundation. “Seeing this pink bus on the highway again is a powerful symbol of what community collaboration can accomplish. We are deeply grateful to Geoff and the Hampton Jitney team.”
