Your generosity helps ensure access to quality breast health care for ALL women on the East End and enables us to continue our life-saving programs and services. Thank you for embracing our mission to change lives and save lives and helping to make a difference.
The Ellen Hermanson Breast Center at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital enables women on the East End to remain local for breast health care and offers a patient-centric, comprehensive approach to treatment. One-in-eight women will be diagnosed in her lifetime. We are committed to ensuring the Breast Center remains a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, equipped with the latest technology and highly skilled medical staff.
Funds raised each year enable us to make grants to the Breast Center to attract and retain the best talent, including dedicated radiologists and highly credentialed oncology social workers and patient navigators, and to purchase the most sophisticated emerging technologies.
